We'll protect the integrity of your Toyota by using Toyota Genuine Parts for authorised repairs within the first five years of the vehicle's original registration.
If your vehicle is damaged beyond repair and less than three years old, we’ll replace it with a new one.
Rental car following not-at-fault collision
While your vehicle is being repaired, or if your vehicle has been declared a total loss, you will be provided with a rental car.
Coverage lasts up to a maximum of 30 days until your vehicle is repaired, or until your claim is settled if your vehicle is a total loss, whichever happens first. Please refer to the ‘Additional Terms and Conditions – our standard conditions for rental cars’ section of the Toyota Car Insurance Policy for our standard conditions (including insurance cover for the rental car) which apply to all rental car benefits in this policy.
Rental car following accidental damage
If you pay the additional premium for the 'Rental car following any accidental damage' option; while your vehicle is being repaired, or if your vehicle has been declared a total loss, you will be provided with a rental car.
We'll arrange and cover the daily rental cost if a preferred rental supplier is available. In the case that a preferred supplier isn't available, you can arrange your own rental car and we'll cover up to $100 per day, including insurance.

Excess-free glass cover option
If you pay the additional premium for the ‘Excess-free glass cover’ option we will offer a one-time replacement of your vehicle’s windscreen, sunroof or window glass if accidentally damaged, with parts compliant with Australian Design Rule standards. You will not be required to pay any type of excess that applies to your policy for the first glass cover claim where glass breakage is the only damage sustained to your vehicle.
In addition to the one-time free glass replacement, you’ll also be covered for two excess-free repairs per period of cover.
If you are claiming on a second or subsequent occasion for glass replacement during the period of cover, you will need to pay the basic excess that applies to your policy.
