Whether you’re feeling that summit fever or looking to spot our unique wildlife, there’s a hike to suit everyone.

Kosciuszko National park, NSW

Soak in astounding views from Australia’s highest point.

Get ready for a challenging, high-altitude adventure, as this popular summit hike takes you directly to the top of Australia’s tallest mountain!

Located within the Snowy Mountains in Kosciuszko National Park, New South Wales, this area offers breathtaking panoramic views of the mountains. Adorned with gorgeous white peaks and endless rolling hills, this hike is like climbing among the clouds.

Australia's backcountry is infamous for bushwalking. And for good reason. This is the perfect hike to explore trails decorated in alpine wildflowers, spot weathered snow gums, and soak in the stunning rock formations.

Be sure to stay alert of conditions on the day of your climb because even here in Australia, the mountainous weather can change quickly.

Cradle Mountain, TAS

Explore Tassie’s pride and joy in the heart of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area.

You can’t take a trip to Tassie without visiting Cradle Mountain. This wonder is only a two-and-a-half-hour drive from Launceston, and with over 20 self-guided walking tracks around the area, it’s fit for the whole family.

Cradle Mountain is famous for its breathtaking natural beauty — from wild alpine moorlands, snowy mountain peaks and glacial lakes to ancient rainforests and river gorges. This pristine land is home to some little Aussie icons who you are bound to run into on your hike, like wombats, echidnas, platypus, possums, wallabies, and even Tasmanian devils!

The magic of Cradle Mountain is bound to stay with you long after you’ve left.

Overland Track, TAS

Overland Track

Australia’s infamous Alpine Walk.

This expedition does require a high level of outdoor and alpine skill, but for hiking lovers keen to throw on a few extra layers, you might just find this is your new favourite trek.

Expanding over 6 days and 65km, the Overland Track offers tranquil scenes with peaceful sounds of shuffling wombats and flittering songbirds. Don’t be fooled though. This is still a challenging hike, but you will be rewarded with gorgeous lakes, picture perfect landscapes, along with a trail you'll never forget.

Blue Mountains, NSW

Blue Mountains

Visit the iconic Three Sisters in the serene landscape of the NSW bush.

Up for a gentle stroll? Want to dip your toe into hiking? Looking for your next multi-day trek? The bushwalking tracks in the Blue Mountains truly cater to everyone.

Only a fifty-minute drive from Sydney, lays some of our country’s most incredible rugged ridges and peaks, tumbling waterfalls, and idyllic bushlands. No matter which trails you choose, you will be rewarded with a perfect lookout. Our favourite gentle tracks? Echo Point in Katoomba, Prince Henry Cliff Walk, and Cliff Top Trail.

Looking for something a little more daring? Try out Federal Pass walk in Leura or Wentworth Pass Loop Walking Track — it’s short but steep with stunning views and a waterfall at its base. Refreshing plunge, anyone?
