Did you know RAV4 stands for Recreational Activity Vehicle with 4-Wheel Drive? Since pioneering the small SUV category in Australia, Toyota has continuously evolved RAV4 to bring more capability, excitement and joy to every drive.

The Plug-in Hybrid XSE and GR Sport come with Mode 2 and Mode 3 cable kits, so you can charge at home or on the go. If you ever run out of charge, your PHEV will seamlessly switch to Hybrid mode. So as long as you keep some fuel in the tank, you won’t be stuck in one place.
Charge by plugging your vehicle straight into a standard Australian wall powerpoint. This type of charging can be an effortless, partial top up overnight while you sleep.
Charge with a public AC charger or at home with a dedicated AC wall charger. AC charging makes for a convenient top-up if travelling shorter distances, with public chargers offering additional power if needed.
DC public fast chargers, often labelled Rapid or Ultra-Rapid, are commonly found at larger shopping centres and select fuel stations. These are the fastest charging option for a power top-up in the time it takes to enjoy your lunch.

Design
The All-New RAV4 is made for the go-ers and the do-ers, with striking design updates including a sculpted silhouette, distinctive ‘hammerhead’ front grille and increased ground clearance.
The luggage compartments offer a total volume of up to 705L (HEV) or 655L (PHEV) with rear seats in place. Fold them down to increase this space even more, and transport bulky cargo like surfboards, golf bags and musical instruments.
You’ll be comfortable no matter which grade you go with. All feature five seats. The GX and GXL come with plush black fabric, while XSE includes suede finishes. Cruiser adds genuine leather accents with a choice of black or beige, and GR Sport features suede trims with red stitching.
The All-New RAV4 features large alloy wheels ranging from 17” on GX to 20” on XSE, Cruiser and GR Sport. These are beautifully balanced with higher body rigidity to provide better traction, stability and grip when cornering.
Hands full of precious cargo? We've made loading up easier. In the Cruiser and GR Sport, the power back door features a kick sensor - just wave your foot near the boot to open it. For Edge and XSE, it's automated so you can open it with just a press of a button.
